Coming to all branches March-May 2016
Get to know your new print and photocopy management systems.
Before we begin, let’s start at a familiar spot—sitting at a library computer. You are ready to print your document or image. What do you do? Hit print and go to the print release station.
A The print release station
The print release station is a computer positioned beside the branch’s printer/photocopier unit. It waits for you to go to it, find your print job on the print release list, and then send it to print. This functionality gives you more privacy and lets you double check your print job before you print.
B Library card scanner
When you are ready to print and you are at the print release station, get your library card ready. The print management software will prompt you to scan your library card and select a payment option. The new system gives you the option to use credit on your library deposit account to pay for printing. The system also allows for payment by cash. See E.
This is the library’s new all-in-one printing and photocopying machine. It offers better quality for your printing and photocopying and it gives you more control over your print jobs.
D Photocopy control panel
This is your master control panel. It provides standard functions, such as number of copies, scan/fax action, and sort and group options. It also provides new features, such as save to USB or reprint your print jobs.
E Cash box
This is your payment station. Insert coins or bills to pay for your printing and photocopying. If you wish to set-up a library deposit account, then at the print release station, select “Manage your library deposit account” and follow prompts.
