It’s Almost Fall, not Pumpkin Spice Season (List)

I am not sure when it happened, but it seems the fall season is not marked so much by when the leaves change colour and children go back to school, but when the world is subjected to pumpkin spice in everything.  I am not saying that I do not enjoy pumpkin pie and I have had the chance to enjoy pumpkin juice à la Harry Potter, but this squash is more than an accessory for fall.  For those of you who look forward to pumpkin spice coffee, lattes, Jello, lotions, candies, and Cheerio- this is your time of year and enjoy!  And if you are searching for what you can do with your own pumpkins, here are some books that offer up some ideas.
