The 7th annual Bike Palo Alto on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. will feature a little something extra this year – a new Bike and Roll Expo on the Civic Plaza downtown at City Hall. The Expo will be a highlighted destination on Bike Palo Alto's northern route map and will showcase innovative bicycling and car-free options for residents to get around Palo Alto.
The Bike & Roll Expo (located at Bryant and Hamilton) will be a lively afternoon with displays and demonstrations of alternatives to car-based transportation. Local vendors of cargo bikes, electric assist bikes, scooters, three wheeled bikes, and more low-carbon transportation options will be on hand. There will be a station to trick out bikes and a "parklet" for relaxing. A band and treats from local businesses will add to the festivities. Among the vendors participating in the Expo include Shinola, Palo Alto Bicycles, MotoStrano Suburban Bikes, sweetgreen, Keen, David’s Tea, Black Diamond Sports and many more.
